    Written by Bret Lasky

RHP Dylan Bundy (0-0, 0.00) vs. RHP Daniel Winkler (2-1, 7.20)

STAT OF THE DAY: During the 13 innings in which Dylan Bundy has been the pitcher of record, the Shorebirds have not scored a single run.  In fact, the Shorebirds offense has managed just six hits during the 13 innings that Bundy has pitched.

BIGGER CROWDS FOR BUNDY: A total of 4,375 fans have come to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to watch Dylan Bundy’s first two home starts (both on Tuesday nights).  The first two Tuesday night home games in 2011 drew a total of 1,892 fans.

PREVIEW: The Shorebirds lost twice on Sunday, once in gut-wrenching fashion and once in lop-sided fashion.  In the completion of a suspended game from Saturday, the Shorebirds overcame an 8-3 deficit with a five-run eighth, but lost 9-8.  Then, in the regularly scheduled game, Asheville scored five runs in the second and seven in the third to beat the Shorebirds 12-1.  The Shorebirds dropped to fourth place in the Northern Division, four games back of Greensboro.  The Shorebirds look to avoid a second sweep this season (@ Greensboro, April 19-21).
