11 Thousand Fans WALKED up to Camden Yards tonight.  A record walk up. Against. KC, no less.

Jason Hammel gets through first efficiently, with no damage though allowing a single. That's the Way (I Like It)

Bases loaded for Adam Jones. No outs. Sacrifice fly. Wieters pops out.  Betemit loads the bases again with a single.  Davis strikes out. "It's the Same Old Song"

    Orioles 1 KC 0

A single and a Wieters throwing error put the tying run on third with one out. Andino and Wieters partnered for a tremendous play at the plate. Hammel then finished the inning off with another ground out.

The Orioles did nothing. "I'm a Pushover"

KC went down 1,2,3. All in a Night's Work

A single is all the Orioles got. Space Cadet: Solo Flight

A one out double with a runner on puts KC on the cusp of scoring off Hammel for the first time. Jason Hammel strikes out the next two KC batters. "Boogie Shoes"!

    1,2,3 Orioles down quickly again.

Hammel gets out of another highwire act after a trapped ball by Nick and his own throwing error put runners at first and third with one out. "Yes, I'm Ready"

A walk, a bunt single, two runners picked off and safe due to great baserunning and sliding - runners second and third no outs. Andino deftly avoided second baseman Irving Falu's tag. I don't care for Irving Falu, his is not a baseball name. SO that made me doubly happy. Speaking of deables. A two run double by J.J. Hardy. "Keep It Comin' Love" Still no outs.  Markakis doubles. Oh Yeah!  Adam extends his 16 game hitting streak after breaking the bat that had hit in 15 consecutive.  All in a Night's Work  And other run scores. Jones steals second and third. Bruce Chen is the joke of the day. He is replaced by some guy throwing 98 mph. Two outs.  Chris Davis battles three fouls off with two strikes.  He singles. KC  just can't stop the Orioles dominant running game. "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" The hits, they just keep on coming. Steve Tolleson joins the hit parade.  Ok  "(You Said) You'd Gimme Some More" Inning over.

The Sunshine Band 6 KC 0

Jason Hammel completes six inning. Now Stu Pomeranz is back and badder than ever for the seventh.  Who Do Ya (Love)

Chris Davis did not hit the warehouse with a man on. It was a bit too far towards center. Do It Good

The Sunshine Band 8 KC 0

Stu Stu Stu! on for the eighth as well. One on, one away. Two.  Jeff Francoeur hits a two run homer on the 12th pitch of his at bat. A ground out ends the inning.  "Give it up"

    The Band 8 KC 2

    Nick Doubles.

Dana Eveland in to close it out. Two down quickly then a single. Ground out.

    "Dancin' in the Streets"

The Sunshine Band wins  8-2 final
