Orioles Obtain 1B/OF Steve Pearce from Yankees for Cash

The Orioles gave cash considerations to the New York Yankees today in exchange for Fist Baseman and Outfielder Steve Pearce who opted out of his contract at AAA.  He is on his way to Tropicana field in St Petersburg to join the Orioles. Bill Hall was DFA'd again to make room for his aquisition. Hall did not score last evening on Steve Tolleson's baserunning blunder.
