    Everybody, Wei-Yin Tonight 9/18 Extra Innings Orioles Win In Eighteen

    In the top of the ninth, the Orioles got two abaord with no outs chasing their nemesis Ramierez. Flaherty and McLouth with singles. Hardy sacrifices the runners to scoring position. One down. Chris Davis at bat. A game tying single. Orioles Magic.

    Jones stikes out, but Avery who pinch ran advances to second, but Matt Wieters grounded out on a disputed fair ball.

    In the Mariners' end of the inning Jake continued with two quick outs. Strike one. Ball one. Ball two. Where was that ump?  Ball three. Where was that Ump? Strike two. Full count. Walk. after two real bad calls. Jaso pinch hits and Matusz is summoned. Alex Liddi is the replacement batter. Two Strikes no balls. Foul. Struck him out.

    After regulation,

    The Orioles do not score in the tenth. 

    Matusz continues. With one down, a bunt is caught in the air. Still one on with one out. A single. O'Day relieves. He strikes out Montero. Two down. Strike one. Ball one. Foul. Two Strikes. Foul. Ball. Ball. Full count. Runners going. Strike Three. Saunders was thrown out for arguing the call. 

    Steve Tolleson leads off the eleventh. He singles.  McLouth sacrifices. The lead run is on second with one down. Avery strikes out. Adam Jones is hit by a pitch in the middle of his back. Bases are loaded. two are away. Matt Wieters swings at strike one. He takes a mighty swing at strike two. And strike three. 

    O'Day still pitching. Smoak singles. Wells pops out on a bunt attempt. A ground out that should have been a double play secures only the second out. Runner on first. Two down. Olivo on first. Thames pinch hits. Strike one. Olivo steals second. Ball. 1-1 One on second. Strike two. Foul. Foul. Ball. Ball. Full count. Foul. Foul. Strike three. Anyone still breathing?

    On to the twefth inning. 

    Reynolds and Machado quick outs. Endy Chavez works a full count. He grounds out.

    Pedro Strop in for the Orioles. Ackley gets ahead 2-1. 2-2. He doubles to DEEP centerfield. Gutierrez pops out. One down. Seager is walked intentionally.  Montero takes ball one. And strike one. Strike two. And three. Runners still on first and second. Trayvon Robinson faces Pete. Ball one, Foul for strike one. Foul for strike two. Foul. And Strike Three.

    Lucky Thirteen

    After a leadoff walk to Omar, the Orioles do not score.

    Johnson in. Steve Johnson. Scoreless.


    Adam Jones flies out. Matt Wieters up, one down. Strike one. Strike two. Foul. Strike three. Mark Reynolds. Ball one. Strike one. Strike two swinging. Ball two. Foul. Foul. Flies out to center.

    Machado grounds out.  Chavez at bat. Two balls. Pops out. Two down. Omar up. Grounds out.

    McLouth pops out. Hardy singles. Avery with a 1-2 count. 2-2. Foul. Balk. Ground out. Hardy standing on third. Adam Jones at the plate. 1-2. He may have been safe on the ground ball. He was called out.

    The Orioles came SO close to scoring.


    The Orioles had not scored until the ninth inning. A full game of scoreless pitching later.

    McClouth walked and J.J Hardy hit and ran. First and third. No outs. I quess it is time for Taylor Teagarden to bat. Single. RBI. There is much celebration the mightiest of Orioles Talismans Taylor Teagarden has come through. A second run scores on a bobble of a Reynolds grounder.
