Jesse Beal is starting tonight for the Baltimore Orioles.  Before a shoulder injury essentially shut him down for two years, Jesse Beal was in the midst of a nice 2010.  He has recently been throwing in the low nineties again.  Buck says he has liked what he has seen. No, he is not in the hunt for the fifth spot.

    Jesse gave up three runs.

Pearce hit a sac fly in the fifth, RBI double by Jones in the sixth and a Chris Davis run-scoring groundout.

Longoria hit a solo HR in the 6th off Tim Bascom.

Teagarden walked, Glynn Davis doubled. None away, Buck Britton at the plate. The ninth inning was going to be a great Oriole come from behind victory, Glynn Davis blundered and ran in to a run down on a comebacker. Kyle Hudson took a called strike that may have kicked up dirt. Kyle beats out an infield single to tie the game. Still one away, and the potential winning run at second again. Steve Pearce takes one of thse bad calls to go down in the count 1 and 2. GPD.

In the tenth and final inning, Rob Delaney gave up lead off singles. With runners at second and third after a fielder choice hit back to him, Rob struck out Benjamin Kline, intentionally walked Longoria, and struck out Ryan Roberts.

Romero walks. Flaherty at the plate. Niuman out attempting to steal. Ryan Ks. Conor Jackson is the final chance. He strikes out.

    It's a 4-4 Tie!
