DJ Stewart went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a stolen base to be the Hangout minor league player of the night.

Norfolk Tides (5-10) lost 9-4 to Syracuse

  • Tyler Wilson allowed four runs on six hits and two walks in just three innings of work to take the loss
  • LHP Paul Fry, who was acquired from the Mariners on Apr 14th, struck out three in one and two-third shut out innings.
  • Henry Urrutia collected his first two hits of the season on a 2-for-3, two walk night out of the lead off spot.

Bowie Baysox (8-7) lost 3-1 to Harrisburg 

  • DJ Stewart stays redhot and is now 6-for-9 since being moved to the leadoff spot.
  • Chris Tillman allowed three runs through his first inning and a third before settling down. Overall allowed three runs on five hits and a walk with three Ks.
  • Matthew Grimes came in and finished off the game with four and a third shut out innings allowing just one hit. He lowered his 2017 ERA to 1.74.
