Flanagan and Duquette Talk with Fans

I tell you, I think a lot of people missed an intimate experience with the Orioles leadership tonight at the ESPN Zone in Baltimore. With a crowd of less then 40 people, everyone who had a question got a chance to ask Executive VP of Baseball Operations Mike Flanagan and VP of Baseball Operations Jim Duquette anything they wanted. Both Duquette and Flanagan were very fluent in their answers and didn't dance around anything asked.

Jim Hunter did a good job of keeping things going and the questions asked were pretty good for the most part. Either way, I think this intimate type of gathering really shows that the Orioles are serious about reconnecting with the fans. No one can say that the Orioles are not available to the fans this year to answer questions. Both Duquette and Flanagan will be on various talk shows this week as well and we hope to sit down with Duquette this week as well.

Kudos to the Orioles for providing this type of availability to the decision makers.
