Zack Muckenhirn made his second start tonight for the Shorebirds and it was another good one. A 2016 11th rounder out of North Dakota, Muckenhirn pitched six innings, allowing just one run on 4 hits, while walking none and striking out 8. He now has pitched to a 0.84 ERA over his first two starts and is a name you definitely want to keep an eye on (Tony recently ranked Muckenhirn #18 on his updated prospect list). He’s the Hangout Minor League Player of the Night!
