Ubaldo Jimenez pitched well enough to win a 4-2 contest. He allowed a second home run of the night to a fellow, Ty Collins, who had been 0 for 30.

It was not pretty.

Starting Pitching

Five strike outs, Three walks and those two home runs. In five innings.

Relief Pitching

The Orioles have a new closer, or setup guy, or pitcher of the day. Miguel Castro called up from AA Bowie. He pitched a scoreless eighth and final inning with a strike out and no hits or walks. That will get him attention.

Hitting

Welington Castillo is back with a vengeance, three for four. Jon Schoop was two for four and Both Chris Davis and Mark Trumbo doubled. Mark to the yellow line. That was the difference of this game.

Fielding

There is a viral Iglesias meme going round today.
