The MLB draft continues today at 1 PM. Let’s hope the Orioles can end their 10-game losing streak on the road as well.
Here’s the latest Oriole news this morning:
- The Orioles are down to .500 now following a string of blowouts writes Roch Kubatko.
- ICYMI, The Orioles tabbed prep lefty D.L. Hall, prep shortstop Adam Hall, and Xavier lefty Zac Lowther with their first three picks last night.
- Alec Asher looks to tame the White Sox lineup tonight and hopefully (finally) put a stop to the bleeding.
- Here’s Stan The Fan’s June Power Rankings.
- Chris Davis left last night’s game with an oblique strain. Buck indicated last night that “it’s not looking good.” The good news is Pedro Alvarez has been mashing down at AAA and would likely get the call if/when Davis hits the DL.
- Gilman grad and current Wake Forest first baseman Gavin Sheets (son of Larry Sheets) went 49th overall to the White Sox last night.
