Starting Pitcher

Chris Tillman pitched five and a third innings allowing six hits and three earned runs. He struck out five and allowed two home runs. He did not get a decision.

Relief Pitchers

Darren O’Day had the crowd singing until he blew the game after the Orioles had just rallied ahead. In his two outs he gave up three runs.  It will be hard to trade him.

Brad Brach was pounded for two runs in the ninth inning. He allowed three hits.

Hitting

Adam Jones and Jon Schoop both homered in the fifth inning off starter McHugh. That was the Orioles offense off a man who has been injured all season.

Fielding

Manny Machado committed an error that did not lead to the debacle.

Then there was this.
