There’s definitely something comforting about winning on Opening Day. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t hope for it, I expect it.
I find it interesting that the O’s are always criticized for not having a “true ace,” and yet we always win on Opening Day. Isn’t that the one day all season when all the “true aces” are expected to pitch?
