Chance Sisco – Role 40/FV 50

Showed that he could stick behind the plate, but struggled at the plate, showed patience but got eaten up with elite stuff late in counts. Still young and the bar for a catcher’s bat isn’t very high, I can still see an average regular.

Tanner Scott – Role 40/FV 50

While Sisco’s outlook dimmed a bit, Scott’s has improved. I know the consistency isn’t there yet and it’s frustrating, but it doesn’t take an expert to see closer potential. While his command is not MLB quality, he’s shown a serious improvement from last year, and is one small improvement away from being dominant.

David Hess – Role 35/FV 40

Hess had a few solid starts before everyone figured out his FB was flat and that he only had two MLB quality pitches. He’ll do better in a relief role where he can run his FB up a few ticks and just work FB/SL.

Anthony Santander – Role 30/FV 35

I’m a little discouraged here, the swing, while pretty, is groved and he doesn’t add much value in other aspects of the game. I wouldn’t count on him as more than a depth piece.
