No runs scored through five innings. Andrew Cashner had a much better outing than opening day. The Orioles took a small lead in the sixth. The Blue Jays loaded the bases in the bottom of the inning but could not score.

Starter

Andrew Cashner was unscored upon through his six innings of work Tuesday. He struck out three, walked three, and allowed only four hits.

Other Pitching

Paul Fry handled a scoreless seventh. And eighth.

Miguel Castro started the ninth with a two run lead. He allowed a one out solo homer to Rowdy Tellez. Grichuk grounded to third and with two down Castro got a flyout for the save.

Hitting

Dwight Smith Jr singled and scored on Jonathan Villar‘s triple in the sixth inning. Red hot Trey Mancini drove him in with a single. Villar also doubled. Hanser Alberto singled twice. Joey Rickard walked and doubled twice.

Defense

Chris Davis did not hit, but he picked a few.
