Today’s Orioles Nationals game was suspended in the top of the sixth inning and will be resumed on August 14th in Baltimore with the Nationals acting as the home team for the resumption.
The game was stopped with Dwight Smith, Jr and Chance Sisco on base via walks when the sky opened up and a heavy rain ensued.
In what may be one of the most epic fails in baseball history, the Nationals grounds crew was unable to successfully unroll the tarp on the Nationals Park infield.
