Career Stats
Quick Scouting Report Update: Acquired in the Mychal Givens trade, Nevin is a former first round pick with raw power but no real defensive value giving him a tough major league profile. Hard working guy who has struggled though to take that raw power and convert it into game power. He will need to do that in order to have a major league future. Has shown good plate discipline at times and has shown an ability to hit for average prior to his disappointing 2019 Double-A campaign,

Defensively he’s a well below average third baseman but appears to be decent at first base. There is some talk about trying him in the outfield, but again, that game power will need to arise for that to do anything but add a little versatility to his resume.

The raw power gives him a chance if the Orioles can find a way to help him tap into it during games.
