The Baltimore Orioles won Sunday’s game with the Kansas City Royals 10-7, gaining a split in the four game series. Three homeruns in the first two innings not only set the pace for the win, they also chased Roylas starter Brad Keller from the game after just 1.2 innings pitched.

Anthony Santander, the third batter of the game, blasted a 455 foot homerun into the water fountains in Kauffman Stadium. Santander finished the day 2 for 6 with the aformentioned homerun, 1 run scored and 2 RBI.

Back to back homeruns by Ryan Mountcastle (2 for 5, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 Run scored, 1 RBI) and Rougned Odor (1 for 4, 1 HR, 1 Run scored, 1 RBI, 1 BB) followed in the second inning.

Every Oriole in the staring lineup managed to reach base at least once in the game.

Cedric Mullins went 4 for 6 with a run scored and 2 RBI.

Richie Martin went 3 for 5 with 2 triples, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI.

Dean Kremer started and earned the win with 5.0 innings of work in which he allowed 2 runs, 1 earned, on 4 hits while walking 2 and striking out 2.

Keegan Akin (2.1 IP, 3 R, 3 H) surrendered three homeruns while Cionel Perez (1.0 IP, 1 H, 1 BB) was credited with his first save of the season as well as the first of his MLB career.
