Tuesday’s game with the Toronto Blue Jays saw the Orioles allow four runs in the top of the sixth. At that point Toronto had a 5-3 lead. Then the rain came and with it, a 78 minute delay. The Orioles obviously used the break to recharge; despite going three up, three down when the game resumed, the Orioles scored three run combined in the seventh and eighth to beat the Blue Jays 6-5.

Ryan Mountcastle (3 for 4, 2 doubles, 1 RBI) doubled in the 7th, allowing Adley Rutschman (1 for 4, 2 Runs Scored, 1 BB), who drew a one out walk, to score.

The eighth inning began with an Austin Hays (1 for 4, 1 Run Scored) single. Rougned Odor (2 for 4, 1 Run Scored, 2 RBI) then hit his 11th homerun of the year, a 415 foot blast to right-center, that gave the Orioles a 6-5 lead.

Felix Bautista (1.0 IP, 1 H, 1 K) faced 4 batters in the ninth to save the game, his sixth of the season. Bautista preserved the win for Nick Vespi (4-0) who struck out both hitters he face in the eighth inning.

Cedric Mullins went 2 for 4 with a double, 1 run scored and a walk.

Kyle Bradish was the starter and allowed 3 runs on 5 hits (1 homerun), walked 2, struck out 4 and threw a wild pitch over 5.1 innings.
