The Baltimore Orioles found themselves on the short-end of a tight back-and-forth game in Atlanta on Saturday, losing 5-4 to the Braves. Atlanta took the lead in the third inning, the Orioles took the lead away in the fourth only to see Atlanta tie the game in their half of the inning. The Braves took back the lead an inning later and the O’s regained the lead in the sixth only to give it back in the eighth and in the end, lose the game.
A familiar face beat the Orioles; a pinch-hit homerun by Kevin Pillar (Toronto 2013-2019) tallied the winning run in the eighth inning.
Anthony Santander continues to swing a hot bat, going 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.
Ryan Mountcastle went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored.
Adam Frazier went 1 for 4 with 3 RBI and a stolen base.

Danny Coulombe (1-1) was tagged with the loss for allowing Pillar’s homerun just two pitches into his appearance. He finished with a line of 0.2 IP, 1 Run, 2 Hits.
