Sunday was the final day of games prior to the 2023 MLB All-Star break. The Baltimore Orioles made the most of the day by defeating the Minnesota Twins 15-2. With the win, the Orioles will take a five game winning streak into the de facto second half of the MLB season.

Similarly to Saturday’s game, it was the big inning that propelled the O’s to victory and the team used two big innings on Sunday. A total of 13 runs combined were scored in the fifth and sixth innings. Four of the Orioles six homeruns were hit during that 13 run barrage as well.

Going yard were Ramon Urias (2 for 5, 1 R, 3 RBI), Aaron Hicks (1 for 4, 2 R, 3 RBI, 1 BB), All-Star Adley Rutschman (2 for 4, 2 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB) and Anthony Santander (2 for 4, 3 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 HBP); Santander also hit a homerun in the seventh inning.

All-Star Austin Hays (2 for 5, 2 R, 2 RBI) started the homer parade in the second inning.
