Despite being limited to three hits through nine innings, the Baltimore Orioles got the big hit when they needed it, defeating the Seattle Mariners 1-0 in ten innings on Saturday. Cedric Mullins (0 for 4, 1 R, 1 SB) started the tenth inning as the “ghost” runner at second base. He promptly stole third base and after not being able to score on an Anthony Santander (0 for 4) groundout to short, Mullins scored on a Ryan Mountcastle (2 for 4, 1 RBI) single.
