Kimbrel, who entered the game with the score tied at 2 in the ninth, allowed 1 unearned run on 2 hits in one-third of an inning to take the loss.
Both teams scored a pair of runs in the second inning. Anthony Santander (1 for 3, HR, R, RBI, BB) led off the inning with his 12th homerun of the season. Ramon Urias (1 for 2, 2B, RBI, BB) doubled in Cedric Mullins (0 for 3, R, BB, SB) for the Orioles second run.
Toronto strung a few hits together off starter Albert Suarez (5.0 IP, 2 R, 5 H, BB, 4 K) with Kiner-Falefa having a hand in the second run.
Baltimore relievers Jacob Webb (1.0 IP, 2 H, K), Danny Coulombe (1.0 IP, K) and Yennier Cano (1.0 IP, 2 K) held the Blue Jays in check, giving the Orioles a chance to win.
Adley Rutschman went 1 for 4.
Ryan O’Hearn went 2 for 4.
Kyle Stowers went 1 for 4.
