Saturday’s game at Oriole Park saw the Orioles trailing the Tampa Bay Rays 6-2 after 4.5 innings. Three runs by the Orioles in the fifth and another run in the fsixth drew the teams even at 6. A sacrifice fly in the 9th gave Tampa the lead. A strikeout and 2 groundouts in the home half of the ninth ended the game with a Baltimore loss.

Four singles and a walk generated the Orioles three-run fifth. The Birds used a Tampa fielding error, a walk and a single to plate the tying run.

Robinson Chirinos went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, 4 RBI and a stolen base.

Ryan Mountcastle went 2 for 4 with a run scored, 1 RBI and a walk.

Anthony Santander went 2 for 5 with a run scored and 1 RBI.

Starter Kyle Bradish allowed 6 runs on 11 hits with 1 homerun allowed, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts over 4.1 innings. Mercifully, the comeback gave him a no-decision.

Dillon Tate (0-3) allowed 1 run on 1 hit, walked 1 and struck out 2 in the ninth inning to take the loss.
