The Orioles only had runners in scoring position twice and failed to knock them in.

Starter and losing pitcher, Dean Kremer (8-6), allowed 3 runs and 6 hits in 5.0 innings. He surrendered both Red Sox homeruns, walked 4 and struck out 2. Kremer did pick off a runner at first base in the second inning, however.

Keegan Akin had a good relief appearance, allowing 1 hit and striking out 2 in 3.0 innings of work.
