DL Hall set a career high with seven strikeout in 5.2 no-hit IP in one of his finest professional start to be the Orioles Minor League Players of the Night.

Norfolk Tides (44 – 40) Lost 4 to 3 – Triple-A

  • Chris Tillman continues to get hit around by minor leaguers as he allowed four runs on nine hits and two walks with zero strike outs in six innings of work. His minor league ERA during this “rehab” is now 8.38. He needs to retire.

Bowie Baysox (37 – 48) Lost 8 to 5- Double-A

Frederick Keys (38 – 46) Lost 8 to 2 – Class A Advanced

  • Yojhan Quevedo, who has to have the most unique name in the Orioles system, went 2-for-4 with a double.

Delmarva Shorebirds (43 – 39) lost 1 to 0 – Class A

  • DL Hall set a carer high with seven strikeouts in 5.2 IP. He didn’t allow a hit and walked two without allowing a run.
  • Alex Katz followed up with 3.2 IP of no-hit ball himself, striking out four.

Aberdeen IronBirds (10 – 10) Won 2 to 1 – Class A Short Season

  • Gray Fenter allowed just one run on six hits while striking out four in six IP.
  • Robbie Thorburn went 3-for-4 to lead the offense.
  • Adam Hall went 1-for-4 with 2 Ks and an error.

GCL Orioles (5 – 10) won 6 to 4 – Rookie

  • Orioles first round pick Grayson Rodriguez made his professional debut tossing one shutout inning. He walked two, but struck out one.
  • Leonardo Rodriguez tossed six shutout innings, striking out four.
