The Baltimore Orioles shout out the Cleveland Guardians 3-0 on Thursday night, the second shout out of the AL Central leaders in as many games. In fact, going back to Tuesday’s game, Baltimore pitching held the Guardians scoreless for 21 consecutive innings.

The latest shut out was started by Kyle Bradish (3-5) who scattered two hits over 7.0 innings while walking 3 and striking out 5. The righthander, acquired in the Dylan Bundy trade, tossed 94 pitches (58 strikes) and induced 9 groundouts in keeping the Guardians off the scoreboard.

Cionel Perez (1.0 IP, 2 K) and Felix Bautista (1.0 IP, 1 BB, 2 K) polished off the win for Bradish.

The Orioles came out swinging with Cedric Mullins (1 for 4, 1 Run Scored, 1 RBI) hitting the game’s first pitch down the right field line for a homerun and two batters later, Anthony Santander (1 for 4, 1 Run Scored, 1 RBI) hitting a homerun ro right-center.

Ryan Mountcastle (1 for 4, 1 Run Scored, 1 RBI) homered in the fourth inning as well.

Gunnar Henderson went 1 for 4 with a stolen base and turned a sweet 6-3 double play in the fourth inning. Henderson also made a diving stop on an Amed Rosario groundball in the sixth to prevent a base hit.
