Despite Sunday’s 7-5 loss at the hands of the Tampa Bay Rays, the Baltimore Orioles have much to be positive about. They reach the unofficial “half-way” point of the 2022 season with a 46-46 record. It took the 2021 Birds 48 more games to win their 46th game of the season; they reached the 46 win mark on game number 140 (9/10/21). It is possible that the Orioles collectively did not want the four-day All-Star break.

Sunday’s game saw the Orioles go down 6-0 after 3 innings. They chipped away at it and scored 4 runs to draw within 2. Tampa answered right back with their 7th run in the bottom of the 6th.
