The Baltimore Orioles shutout the White Sox 4-0 in Chicago on Thursday night. Pitching, offense and defense all were on center stage in Guaranteed Rate Field.

Starting and winning pitcher, Dean Kremer (2-1) gave up 7 hits, walked 1, struck out 4 and hit a batter over 5.2 innings. Kremer has not allowed a run in his last two games (11.2 IP).

Felix Bautista (1.1 IP, 1 BB, 3 K) and Dillon Tate (1.1 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 1 K) maintained the status quo while Jorge Lopez struck out both batters he faced in the 9th to notch his 12th save of the season.

Adley Rutschman hit his 2nd homerun of the year in the 4th inning off of Johnny Cueto and finished with a 2 for 4, 1 double, 1 homerun, 1 run scored and 3 RBI line. Ryan Mountcastle went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a run scored.

Austin Hays went 1 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Hays had an outfield assist as well and made one of the defensive plays of the year in the 8th inning when he made a diving, sliding catch, robbing Jake Burger of a hit. Cedric Mullins and Anthony Santander both made highlight reel catches as well.
