A rocky first had all nervous but after allowing two earned runs, Tom Eshelman did not allow another in five full innings of work.

Topping out at 87 MPH, Eshelman came as advertised, locating his pitches and inducing week contact and grounders. He struck out no one.

Branden Klein gave up the game changing three run homer and took the loss. He was optioned after the game. He hit 97 MPH.

Renato Nunez had a single and a double.
