The Orioles came equipped to play for a crowd just over 12 thousand on batting-practice cap day.

David Hess pitched well for four and a third innings. He struck out seven and allowed three earned runs. One walk and three home runs.

Cedric Mullins paced the club with four hits, one a double, in five at bats. Jonathan Villar had three with a home run. Adam Jones thrilled the fans with two hits including his 15th home run. He is batting .285 with a .747 OPS.

Ryan Meisinger, Tanner Scott, Miguel Castro, and Paul Fry all held the White Sox scoreless.

The Orioles committed two errors.
