Trailing Philadelphia 2-0 after 4 innings, Anthony Santander‘s 5th inning double cleared the bases for the Orioles and once leading 3-2, they never looked back.
Santander finished the game 1 for 5 with 3 RBI; he has now had at least 1 RBI in seven straight games.
Rio Ruiz hit his 5th homerun of the year in the 9th and Pedro Severino hit his 4th in the 8th inning. Severino finished with a 3 for 5, 2 run scored, 3 RBI line.
Thomas Eshelman started and provided the Orioles with a solid effort: 5.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 K. Despite surrendering a 2-run homerun to J.T. Realmuto in the 4th inning, he earned his 1st win of the year.
The Orioles now have a 10-7 record and are riding a five game winning streak.
