The Scottsdale Scorpions (3-2) fell to the Glendale Desert Dogs 10-6 in 7 innings on Friday. Scottsdale broke out to a 4-0 lead after just two innings only to see Glendale plate four runs of their own in the bottom of the second. Glendale scored 4 runs in the third inning and 2 in the fourth inning to extend their lead to 10-4. Scottsdale responded with two fifth inning runs to account for the final score.
Reed Trimble went 1 for 3 with a walk.
