Despite a Glendale three-run rally in the seventh inning, the Scottsdale Scorpions (9-8) defeated the Desert Dogs 9-7 (7 innings) Saturday. Baltimore Orioles prospects played a major role in the win, with the bat and the arm.

Cesar Prieto went 1 for 3 with a homerun, 1 run scored and 3 RBI.

Reed Trimble went 0 for 2 with 1 run scored and a walk.
