Manning the broom was Austin Hays who went 4 for 4 with a double, a homerun, 3 runs scored and 4 RBI for the Birds. Over the series Hays went 6/14 (.429) with 2 doubles, a homerun, 5 runs scored, 5 RBI and a walk.

Kyle Gibson (14-8) gave the team a quality start, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits (1 HR) while walking 2 and striking out 3 in 6.0 innings of work. Gibson earned the win as well.
Cionel Perez (1.0 IP), Shintaro Fujinami (1.0 IP, 1 H, 1 K) and Cole Irvin (1.0 IP, 1 K) finished out the game for the bullpen.
