Game Summary:

Norfolk and Oklahoma City played a tight game until the seventh inning when a grand slam homerun by Colton Cowser gave the Tides a 5-2 lead. A double by Lewin Diaz and 2 walks loaded the bases for Cowser.  Connor Norby hit a two-run homerun in the ninth to extend the lead to 7-2. In the bottom of the ninth, Nick Vespi (0.2 IP, 3 R, 2 H [1 HR], 1 BB) walked the lead-off hitter and then recorded two outs before allowing a RBI single and a two-run homerun to Michael Busch (2 for 4, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB). Joey Krehbiel (0.1 IP, 1 R, 1 H, 1 K) relieved Vespi with the score 7-5. Krehbiel immediately surrendered a homerun to Miguel Vargas (2 for 5, 1 2B, 1 HR, 2 R, 1 RBI) and then struck out Ryan Ward (0 for 5) swinging to end the game, giving the win to TJ McFarland and earning himself the save.
