The Baltimore Orioles finished their roadtrip with some fireworks of their own, defeating the Boston Red Sox 10-0 on Memorial Day at Fenway Park. The team won the five-game series with the Red Sox and went 4-4 on the trip through New York and Boston.
The O’s used homeruns from Ryan Mountcastle (4 for 5, 1 2B, 1 HR, 4 Runs Scored, 1 RBI), Ramon Urias (1 for 5, 1 HR, 1 Run Scored, 1 RBI) and Anthony Santander (1 for 4, 1 HR, 1 Run Scored, 4 RBI) to lead the team to victory.
Adley Rutschman went 2 for 5 with a double.
Trey Mancini went 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI and a walk.
Tyler Wells (2-4) started and gave the O’s a quality start, allowing 2 hits and 1 walk over 6.0 innings. The right-hander struck out 3 in earning the win.
Three relievers, Dillon Tate (2K), Joey Krehbiel (1 H) and Logan Gillaspie (1 H), each pitched 1.0 inning to finish what Wells started.
