Orioles Drop Series Finale 3-1

The good news Oriole fans is that they won still won the series and are 7-2 overall versus Toronto this year.

Player of the Game

  • Adam Jones carried the offense today. He finished 3-for-4 with a home run in the 4th inning that accounted for the lone Oriole run.

Starting Pitching

  • Wade Miley turned in a solid effort after falling behind 3-0 early in the 1st. The Blue Jays put a pair of runners on following a Jonathan Schoop fielding error that allowed Kendrys Morales to reach first and a Justin Smoak single. Devon Travis then delivered a three-run blast. Due to the fielding error, these runs were all unearned for Miley. He settled in nicely after that and delivered seven quality innings. Final Line: 7 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 0 ER, BB, 3 K, Loss.
