Alex Cobb was awful again. Cries of Ubaldo 2 rang from the crowd. 2.2 innings pitched five runs allowed. Three walks. Eight hits. It ain’t good.
Danny Valencia raised his batting average to .292. Manny Machado got his two hits to stay above .300. He ran out his outs.
Mike Wright and Brad Brach were good. Zach Britton gave up a Kyle Seger homer and a blown save again. Mychal Givens took the loss in the eleventh. But we all know, it was really Donnie Hart.
