Wednesday’s game at Oriole Park saw the Oakland A’s strike early with a three-run homerun in the first inning, the Orioles tie the game at 4 a piece in the seventh and finally the A’s scoring 4 runs in the eighth and ninth combined to win the game 8-4.

Baltimore starter Dean Kremer continues to give up the long ball. The right-hander allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, 2 of which were homeruns, walked 2, struck out 1 and hit a batter over 4.1 innings and saw his ERA balloon to 9.49.

Mike Baumann allowed 2 hit in 2.0 innings of relief and Keegan Akin (0-1) took the loss by allowing 2 runs on 3 hits with 2 strikeouts in 0.2 inning.

Jorge Mateo went 2 for 4 with a double and 1 RBI.

Adley Rutschman went 1 for 3 with 1 RBI and a walk.

Cedric Mullins went 1 for 2 with a run scored and 1 RBI after pinch hitting for Ryan McKenna (1 for 1, 1 RBI).
