The Baltimore Orioles shut out the Washington Nationals for a second game in a row, winning 4-0 on Wednesday night.

One key to the victory was 2B Adam Frazier. He entered the game for Jorge Mateo (0-1), who left the game after 2 innings with right hip discomfort. Frazier hit a 2 run homerun to right field in the fourth inning, finishing the game 1 for 2 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI and a walk.

The Nationals were held scoreless by Baltimore pitching. Kyle Bradish (1-0) returned from the IL and mirrored Dean Kremer’s effort from Tuesday. Bradish allowed 5 hits, walked 1 and struck out 6 over 6-0 innings, an effort that earned him the win.

Baltimore’s bullpen did the rest, highlighted by a 2 strikeout seventh inning by Bryan Baker (he did a backward shuffle off the mound at the end of the inning) and Mike Baumann’s ninth (1 H, 2 K).

Gunnar Henderson went 1 for 3 with 1 RBI and a walk.

James McCann went 1 for 4 with a run scored.
