The Baltimore Orioles beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-3 Thursday night. With the win the Orioles finished the season series with the Blue Jays 10-3, the best record (percentage wise) against their AL East rivals since 1994.

For the second night in a row Anthony Santander (2 for 4, 1 HR, 1 R, 2 RBI) hit a tater. This homerun, his 24th of the season, was a 417 ft. blast that was confirmed to have landed on Eutaw Street, the 9th tater he has hit there in his Baltimore career.

Cedric Mullins (2 for 4, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 R, 2 RBI) hit a two-run homerun in the fifth inning and threw out Toronto’s Danny Jansen at third base in the seventh inning.

In no way would this win have been possible if not for the solid performance given by Kyle Gibson (13-7). The veteran right-hander went 8.0 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits (1 HR), walking 1 and striking out 8. He threw 95 pitches, 61 for strikes, and earned the win.

Recording his 33rd save of the season was Felix Bautista, who pitched a clean ninth inning.
