What do you get when you have a 1 hour 32 minute rain delay followed by a 3 hour 40 minute game that featured 25 runs, 37 hits, 3 errors and 6 homeruns? A 13-12 win over the Boston Red Sox by the Baltimore Orioles is what you get.

It wasn’t easy. Yennier Cano entered the ninth with a 13-9 lead. Eight batters later the Orioles won by one run. Cano allowed 3 runs on 4 hits and walked 1 in 1.0 inning. Shintaro Fujinami (7-8) got credit for the win by striking out 1 over 1.2 innings.

Jack Flaherty started and once again struggled, allowing 5 runs, 4 earned, on 8 hits (1 HR), walking 1 and striking out 3 over 3.1 innings.

Jacob Webb allowed 3 runs on 3 hits and struck out 1 in 0.2 inning.

The Orioles out-homered the Red Sox with James McCann leading the way. McCann went 2 for 5 with 2 homeruns, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.

Aaron Hicks (3 for 4, 1 2B, 1 HR, 3 R, 3 RBI, 1 BB), Jordan Westburg (3 for 4, 1 2B, 1 HR, 2 R, 1 RBI) and Gunnar Henderson (1 for 5, 1 HR, 1 R, 3 RBI) all homered as well.

Anthony Santander went 2 for 5 with a double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.
