Saturday’s game started off with the Orioles jumping on former Oriole DL Hall for three runs in the bottom of the first inning. Adley Rutschman (2 for 5, HR, R, RBI) touched Hall for a homerun in the third inning. Hall lasted just 3.1 innings and allowed 5 runs on 3 hits (3 HR) while walking 1, striking out 4 and hitting Anthony Santander (0 for 3, R, BB, HBP) with a pitch.
Gunnar Henderson (1 for 5, RBI) hit a RBI single in the second that allowed Colton Cowser (1 for 4, R, SB) to score.
The Orioles managed just four singles and a walk against Milwaukee pitching over the final 5.2 innings.
Starter Dean Kremer (0-1) struggled on the day, allowing 8 runs, 6 earned, on 10 hits (2 HR) with a walk and 3 strikeouts over 4.0 innings in recording his first loss of the season.
