The Blue Jays defeated the Orioles 5-2 to sweep the three game series in Baltimore. It’s no wonder the team explored the possibility of using Camden Yards as their “home” field when the Canadian government stopped them from playing in the Rogers Centre.
Randal Grichuk homered for the third straight game off of Orioles pitching; the centerfielder hit two homeruns off of Orioles starter Tommy Milone.
Despite allowing those two homeruns, Milone made a quality start: 6.0 IP, 3 R, 7 H and 7 K. Thomas Eshelman (2.0 IP, 1 R, 2H) and Paul Fry (1.0 IP, 1 R, 2 H) pitched in relief but the Orioles bats could not produce a win.
Anthony Santander‘s hitting streak continued with a 1 for 3, 2 walk game. Hanser Alberto, Dwight Smith, Jr, Pat Valaika and Cedric Mullins each collected 2 hits for the Orioles.
