The Orioles evened the series last night with the Indians and have two more to go in the four-game set.
Here’s the latest Oriole news this morning:
- Manny Machado collected his 10th career multi-home run game last night.
- Chris Tillman is approaching a critical stretch as his performance to date hasn’t been anywhere close to expectations. One has to wonder if he’s pitching through an injury.
- The Aberdeen Ironbirds kicked off their season last night, dropping their first game by an 11-2 score.
- Zach Britton is eligible to return from the DL on July 4th. He made his first rehab appearance last night with Aberdeen.
- Buck Showalter says Dylan Bundy is expected to get some rest next month.
- The Orioles pitching staff has allowed five runs or more in 17 straight games. That’s the longest streak in the AL since 1913. Yikes.
- In case things continue to go south, Matt Kremnitzer blogs about five potential trade chips for the Orioles.
