Kevin Gausman without a doubt, turned in his best outing of the season today. Gausman dominated throughout and still ran up his fastball as high as 98 MPH in the 7th inning when he was over 100 pitches into the game. His fastball command was sharp throughout and his split-changeup looked as good as it’s ever been. Gausman fanned 9 over 7 innings, allowing just two hits and two walks. Let’s hope this outing kick-starts a much better second half of the season for Gausman. He’s the Hangout Player of the Game.
