Chris Davis accounted for half of the Oriole run total tonight with two big swings of the bat. He hit a two-run bomb in the first inning and then later crushed a grand slam in the fourth inning. Davis is now hitting .221 with 16 home runs and is the Hangout Player of the Night.

Starting Pitching

  • Dylan Bundy had his A game working tonight. After allowing a leadoff home run to Shin-Soo Choo, he dominated the next six innings with no further runs crossing the plate. He improves to 9-8 with a 4.18 ERA. Final Line: 6 IP, 4 H, ER, BB, 4 K, Win.

Relief Pitching

  • Miguel Castro worked two perfect innings with a strikeout on a 98 MPH fastball.
  • Zach Britton struck out two over a scoreless inning, lowering his ERA to 1.80 in the process.
