– Kevin Gausman threw 96 pitches (61 strikes) while matching CC Sabathia through five innings, striking out three and allowing two runs and a walk. He used a 93-95 MPH fastball and a sinker that did not get called as a strike often by the umpire. As opposed to his last outing, Gausman worked down in the strike zone. He threw multiple changeups as well as a few sliders.
