John Means returned from the injured list to walk one and allow a hit in five innings of work. The bats came alive early scoring right runs before the second inning was finished.

The Floppy hat fireworks crowd of 21,248 was treated to great pitching and fireworks throughout.

Means struck out five and was replaced by Brenden Kline who went two scoreless. Paul Fry and Miguel Castro each got in their work scorelessly.

Chance Sisco, Anthony Santander, and Rio Ruiz each collected three hits on the night. Sisco and Santander homering and doubling. Hanser Alberto had a single and double raising his batting average to .317 on the season.

Chris Davis managed a single in four attempts, raising his batting average to .171.
